Truck shop maintenance service: ABS for trucks has been popularized abroad, but in domestic trucks, there are still many truck friends who can save money. Truck ABS plays a huge role in the situation of truck lock-up, and can pay for the driving safety of drivers. Next, let's learn about truck ABS from the case!
method/step
1.ABS combination valve leakage
The ABS regulator is exhausted, causing the false impression that the ABS regulator is leaking. When the ABS is not involved in the work, the air pressure of the control line (yellow pipe) of the ABS regulator entering the pilot air chamber of the ABS regulator and the output air pressure are a 1:1 relationship, so when entering the control line of the ABS pilot air chamber If there is an air leak in the middle, it will definitely cause the ABS output air pressure to decrease.
If it is judged that the ABS combination valve is leaking, it can be checked by connecting the air pressure between the emergency relay valve and the pilot port of the ABS regulator to see if the air pressure is stable when braking or pulling the hand brake.
2. Gap code failure
During vehicle maintenance or operation, the sensor gap may be too large. The ABS controller of the semi-trailer has a fault storage function. In order to better judge the fault, when the same sensor gap fault is stored more than 8 times, the indicator light is always on. At this time, it is necessary to eliminate the fault code first, that is, unplug the corresponding faulty wheel sensor. Turn on the ignition switch, the fault of the sensor will flash, turn off the ignition switch, plug in the sensor, then turn on the ignition switch, the indicator light shows normal, and the code cancellation is successful.
3. Slow brake return
The emergency relay valve in the control pipeline is not exhausted smoothly when the brake is released or the brake is released, which will cause the brake to return slowly and drag the brake. In this case, the entire braking system generally has the problem of slow return.
If the brake system is slow to return on one side, that is, the wheels on the same side of the vehicle have slow return to the brake position, generally there is a problem with the ABS regulator, and the regulator needs to be replaced.
4. Leakage of hand brake ABS valve
The exhaust port of the ABS valve leaks air when the hand brakes, but the ABS valve does not leak air when the foot brakes, which means that the braking system of the semi-trailer part is not faulty, and it is necessary to check whether the hand brake valve of the tractor is leaking or there is air leakage. .
5. Sensor judgment error
Some manufacturers will connect the sensor wires wrongly during installation (since the semi-trailer system is low-selection, the performance will not be affected after the wrong connection). The corresponding interfaces are different, so you can't find the problem according to the ABS prompt, you have to follow the sensor extension line to find the corresponding wheel.
Precautions
It is easy to enter into misunderstandings when using truck ABS, so if there is a problem with truck ABS, there is no need to rush to the service station for repair. You can call customer service for consultation and troubleshoot problems one by one.
